From what we've previously discussed in related threads *cough* there is a furniture cap because it was arbitrarily worked into the system early on in development. It functions in strange ways due to messy code, and would be chaos to change (we're talking people losing furniture objects that they paid cash money for).


Furniture is currently searchable. You can type "Bed" in the search bar (top right of furniture inventory window) and you get a list of all furniture items with 'bed' in the title. This is handy for many 'sorting' techniques, such as writing in "fen", hitting search, and all your fences are there. It's faster than just scrolling through, and it lets you grab furniture of various types without having to go through a folder. For example, you can write in 'cry' and all the 'crypt' furniture from club crypt will appear. MUCH more effective than putting them in folders sorted by 'type' because you can select a whole set of objects to fit the style need of whatever you're building.
