here is the real deal update:

it'll be released when it's ready

it's currently not ready

we are not going to re-add the 1k hour hat or similar in the interim

we are not going to sit on the update and wait a month to release it

the main reason it's not out yet is because i've been lazy

we are currently re-evaluating the scope of the project/system and i've asked dusty for assistance with certain aspects of it

i'm not going to set a public deadline or estimate when it will be out but i sympathize with your discontent
