It has nothing to do with how good of a game it is to be honest. It would probably be worth $10 on PC but not on iOS because I (and most people) don't game enough on their phones to make it worth $8. It's about the platform, not the game itself.

Phone gaming is a more than viable platform, it's beyond disappointing to see how some of these so called "developers" constantly keep mobile gaming at such a low standard.
It's because of this there is the stigma that mobile games aren't worth more when in reality, a good mobile game can be equally worth as much a a good console game.
You got games like Oceanhorn, Chaos Rings and Wayward Souls that could easily fit into the PC or console market but instead are found only on mobile.
It's just that the market is oversaturated to the brim in worthless filler crap and it just keeps the bar low and makes people uneasy about spending more money on good mobile games.
Games are what make consoles good in the first place. You can't expect mobile gaming to surpass console or PC games when there is just so much useless crap shoved in your face.
