Id probably say for gp. You gain 1 gp per kill and lose 1/2 a gp per death. If you have no Gp getting killed doesn't give anybody gp.
Also perhaps add a multiplayer for how large your streak is for the amount of Gp you earn/steal per kill
(Killing someone 3 times in a row just like it doesn't add to your streak won't give gp)

The people who defend the flag would be getting minimal gp aswell
