I'll criticize openly anyone who is acting as an apologist for the spur that leads people to these types of actions, that spur being Islam. This is a much more egregious offence than trolling on the internet. It doesn't take a hard-right conservative to realize the thing that all these attacks have in common. It just takes someone to think critically for even a few moments, and abandon the notion that the feelings of people should impact your conclusion.

That's too easy of a conclusion to make, though. As a CJ major, I've learned that the cause of many criminal acts isn't easy to pin down. There's millions of peaceful Muslims that don't submit to terrorist groups. Why is that? You can't paint Islam as evil and the cause of terrorism when 99% of Muslims aren't involved in terrorism. I do think critically, along with most other people discussing this issue. Don't pretend otherwise and diminish others' opinions just to further your argument. What causes a Muslim who has been peaceful for 25 years to suddenly pack up and join ISIS? What causes a non-Muslim to do that? (Because many people who join ISIS from Western Countries may not actually be Muslim). Clearly Islam isn't causing non-Muslims to join ISIS because they don't know what Islam actually practices or believes. Hardly anything in life is a one-topic issue. Terrorism is not an exception.
To those that believe differently than I do:

So what's your solution?
Extremism is a problem and has to be dealt with

Seriously, what's the solution if Islam is the problem? How would we minimize/eradicate terrorism? In America, and around the world. All I hear from all sides on the political spectrum is a debate of what the problem is, but no one really discusses what the solution is.
