I think that trash, mushrooms, and ammo should spawn in southridge. It would bring more people to southridge and spread out the population in the north.

I completely agree. The only time you use the recycling center there is if you forgot to use the northern one. City streets are city streets. I was surprised when I first realized you can't find items there.
