Good idea, poorly executed. the competitive aspects should be represented on page 1, with all the useless social information on page 2. You should be able to tap someone's profile and see someone's real stats, a representation of their skill level (not always accurate but you know). By all means add extra stats but pushing the competitive stats to the back page where no one sees them is just ludicrous, another discouragement to work on stats in the future. Things like partner, gralats, AP , birthday should be on page 2.
To me this is just another way of belittling the competitive aspects of the game in favour of the social aspects, which they will continue to do so more and more until there's no more pressure from the community to keep developing the competitive side.
I'm honestly shocked they even keep these seasonal leaderboards up, although i suppose With it being completely automatic no effort is needed to develop, maintain and update the leaderboards, and it's an excuse for the devs to say they still have some focus on the competitive side of the game. But it's clear to me they don't
