Gender Studies isnt even in the same group as religion and evolution. What Gender Studies proposes gives no evidence whatsoever to what their teaching. Theres 2 genders making any more up to make people more happy is not healthy for them or for the country.

I took a gender studies class and it was predominantly about social constructs. Gender and sex are different and often misconstrued terms. Sex is based on anatomy, gender is a social construct. Society creates expectations of masculinity for men and femininity for women. There's also intersex people that have both male and female anatomy, and they often face many societal issues because they don't conform to one gender/sex or the other. Many other cultures and societies also have more than 2 genders, including native Americans. Many European societies have less strict expectations and don't even consider gender to be an important characteristic.
The class was eye opening to some extent, especially with teaching how societal expectations are the cause of all this. Pink used to be the masculine color and blue was feminine, and now it's reversed.
Anyways, this is coming from someone who was forced to take this class as my literal only option. I'm also not a fan of the idea of being transgender as I feel that changing your gender is actually an act of conforming to societal expectations by admitting that if you feel a certain way or like certain types of things, then you must be of a certain gender. Guys can wear dresses. Girls can be strong and wear basketball shorts.
But really, people need to get over what other people do if their actions don't affect anyone else.
