I only want a device to read e-books, I now have one, for 1/5 the price of an iPad. The iPad does not read e-books better than an Amazon Kindle, I looked in to all e-readers before buying, the only other one I considered getting was a Kobo Touch but they are not for sale in my area.

I would get the Motorola Xoom before the iPad anyway if I wanted a tablet PC, which I don't. This thread was never about the device to read on or tablet PCs but rather what to put on it. No more iPad talk, for goodness sake.
