I don't know much about the crime rates in any European countries, but out of any place, besides Chicago or lower parts of Detroit, I feel very safe in America. At least where I am in upper Michigan, I don't have a fear of losing my life to a scum with intentions of shooting up my school. Knock on wood.

Michigan is pretty safe ya kids in Chicago are growing up in a horrible way thats where most of the gang members are from who make rap songs about killing people and cops and the kids listen to these type of music and eventually they start doing it too.
