For one, I live in a deadzone. Nothing to do really with pigs.
While you are correct that country to distance, However that is only 1 of literally hundreds of possibilities of things that can cause delay or lag. Take for example you could have a very crappy ISP like Cricket, And you could get a very laggy and delayed network even despite being in the city. Even at home WiFi can be effected by dial up, Ethernet cable length, and a mass of more possibilities and changes that can drastically alter your internet speed. For me however i live too far from any ISP i am able to get so data is delivered far slower than if i lived in town. Same concept as why you won't likely get Data in the middle of the ocean or in the desert because aliens dropped you off there for whatever reason.
But people in graal ( Granted i'll give them a little bit of a break since most dont know much about how wifi or data even woks) But pretty much 99% of them think that whatever country you're in determines your internet speed, Which is absolutely flawed because i've seen even Brazilians have faster internet on graal than even USA players on a rare occasion

Here’s some food for thought <—- think that’s how it goes
In your expert opinion how much % would the distance to a server contribute to delay?
Well in comparison to the other hundreds of things that affect it. Just curious I’ve never had a conversation with a delay expert.
Personally I think that if your internet situation is that bad you wouldn’t be able to stay connected to the net let alone finish a spar with out constantly freezing. Js since I’m a novice at understanding the net
