nah p confident US would beat most of those harlequin'd together teams just based on chemistry alone. Don't rly know about the teams there that actually competed(i think there are a couple there?), but I wouldn't really rate them as high as any US team...
It's a pretty moot point though, since the meta-strategy on iclassic has changed drastically due to the influx of more lag and delay moving it towards a more prediction based, and less aggressive style. It's not really a question of whether the older sparrers are better than sparrers now or not, its more if they are willing to adapt.
Offense is really cool looking and fun to do, but really I feel like even on old graal a lot of the time that people reeaaally wanted to win they would back off, and not try to force combos unless someone over extended towards them, maybe I'm wrong, but I remember a lot of people in tourneys that would go much more defensive/safe and it would usually yield better results in that setting.
