It’s been a long time but I do recall being able to email toonslab for more detailed info about my ban situation, and they responded

I’m too lazy to open my email right now but I have two from 2012 and 2013 that tell me what I was banned for. Support was much more responsive then.
Multiple bans and shadow comm bans are wrong. Tell these players what they’ve done. There’s a text box on the ban screen specifically for ban reasons. Use it. Tell comm banned players in a pm or something ingame to tell them what they’ve done. How can a player be expected to change their behavior if they don’t know what they’ve done? Of all the people I’ve known to be comm banned or say words-that-will-get-you-banned most of them can only speculate what they’ve done. How is that fair?
