Try Daughtry. They have some slow and fast music, and some of the fast stuff is really empowering and amazing. Maybe Coldplay... Idk it's different, but it's still a band, and I really like the new album Mylo Xyloto.

Since we're on the subject of hating rap, I hate rap too, but Pitbull is kinda cool. Just in case you were wondering....

I know you didn't ask for my opinion on Pop music, but Adele is awesome.
