It goes without saying that the point of Graal is monetization. But to do it like this... just seems dirty. This is the current business model, of which I'm sure everyone is already aware:
- Make getting gralats very difficult. Farming would get you a few hundred per day and would take hours. Boring hours.
- Ridiculously overcharge for items. 50,000 for a piano. 100,000 for mount.
- Conveniently offer Gralat packs, which you buy with your own money.
Is this the best way?
$36 USD for a virtual item?
Please note that I am not criticizing them for trying to make money. I've bought the $9.99 Gralat pack a few times now. But there is no way I would buy it 4 times in a row to purchase a product. Now I would maybe consider buying it if it were 10,000 gralat (about $3.63 USD). Wouldn't more people buy it at that lower price?
In other words, wouldn't lowering the price of these items actually make them more money while not offending or turning away loyal players (customers)?
