In the real world it's better to have worked more then once in your time, it makes the application look better.
I agree with the part about poetic though, he is a total duche bag and should never of been re hired.

I understand it makes you look better but at least give people another chance. There are a lot more people out there than just "recycled" PR's.

So what if he's a total douche? Many admins are douches too but on theccount they try to be nice. And your actings doesn't affect your application unless you got banned a lot, but even that is no legit reason to not hire someone. I know a lot of people who eiter were total ******s, douches, or people who got banned almost every day, and guess what. They were better admins than people who were nice and mature all the time, really.. you just have no knownledge at all.

I'm not saying this by jealousy because i didn't apply but this is ridiculous. Come on, a hiring bases on 1 day and a half?!?! What is this? And then they changed name from Zone Patrol to Zone Police... Doesn't sound well organized and pro. Same wtf is this story with poeticfolly. Don't announce things if after you say the opposite. I'm sure ton of people didn't even know there was an application or weren't on for a day and didn't get their opportunity. Ridiculous.

Please stop flaming. I'd rather not have an unpleasant conversation on Christmas Eve. Besides, Matt works hard enough reading the applications, so I'm sure he makes mistakes. I don't know the full story, but it's over now.

You don't have to be perfect, but then you make a mistake don't take it out on someone else.

Hire poetic and if he screws up it's his fault. Not hire him after you said you would and announced it, and it's your fault.
