Az isn't really trying to cover anything. Obviously you guys will think it's true if he says it, and deleting the posts just makes it look more suspicious... so if I may just set the record straight... No one gets paid except the people in France who run this company. In fact it would be pretty illegal and impossible for a small company to issue w2's/I-9's or whatever complicated international tax forms to players/staff members in other countries. It's not as easy as everyone assumes... But frankly it's none of anyone's damn business. Warlord just said something stupid and we're gonna slap him on the wrist later...  . Please know, none of us get paid. We do this all volunteer. We see Graal the same as you - a hobby. Something fun to do. Why do I do this? I enjoy you all enjoying what I make. I like when people are amazed and get all excited and whatnot. I enjoy that my work is (usually) appreciated. But just enough to where I stop listening when people start demanding more, haha. We do work constantly though. We have lives just as you. Some of us have school. Some have college, or work - or families. Some of us just have busy lives. We work as hard as we can without driving ourselves insane to make you folks happy. We don't set the prices. I don't. Xor doesn't. It's not up to us. For Halloween, we had a much bigger say - hence a majority of cheaper items. Personally, I'm a cheap-o guy. If I can get something for Free, then Heck yeah! Who REALLY wants to spend money? Nobody. We're all world-class money hoarders. But honestly, there's nothing we can do. We don't drive the prices, and it's not up to us. I apologize for this, but there's not much we can do, so please don't blame us for it. |
