It was a fun event, but after a while it got repetitive and boring, and I got tired of it after my first 500 candies. I would suggest just going to 500 and stopping since you should get a decent prize from there. I said I would get 2k candies but I got so tired and bored of the event that I just stopped at 1.5k. I don't understand how some people were able to get 6k candies. I seriously hope these people get some sleep after this event, because clearly they haven't been sleeping at all. I'm really hoping that the prizes are worth it and I'm really looking forward to new items/emotes/pets/mounts found in the goodie bags, rather than just hats. I see we have an excellent graphics team (the hats in club crypt are amazing) and I really want to see some diversity in the prizes rather than just hats. Although, hats wouldn't be bad either since I'm sure they look great.

So here's my opinion the event. After a few days of this event going on, I would have to say that I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did when we had to get candies from the ghosts. Like a few players who mentioned above, the event wasn't as fun because of the mazes. It seemed like people were more interested in gaining free money rather than giving out to the community. Around half of the maze houses that I have entered didn't even have candy but they still end up putting signs like, "Enter house for more candy" so that players could grab their bushes. I still think the idea of this event was great, but it ended up different than what I expected. I loved the idea of giving so it was nice that it got implemented into this event but like Michael said, players should at least have a bowl of candy if they want to participate. No one wants to enter houses just to farm for other players (:. It ruins the point of Halloween, which is to get caaaannndyyyyy. In the end, it might be fun to some players but I think the rest of us already know that this event wasn't as fun as the previous Halloween events. It would be nice if they could add in the ghost candies back next year so that the rest of us could enjoy finding candies through both ghosts and houses. Thanks for the great work you've brought to us though @ the staff team. #stopmazehouses

I didn't see many maze houses, but I usually just left immediately XD I do kind of agree but I like Being able to just enter houses and grab.

I agree with most of this. Didn't care for club crypt items at all, but loved the decor/tiles.  

btw, Im expecting that the prize bags cost more candy this year (in old system, npc's took 5 candy each) because getting candy is much quicker. Last year the top candy hunters had 1500ish if i remember; this year people are getting 6000. Also, the npc in the witch hut says players with more candy get better prizes, hinting that prizes bags are probably tiered, good goody bags being more expensive.

Dude, only a few people got 6000. it would be unfair to the legit players getting candy (because i know they aren't legit). Don't let a few players affect the pricing of the candy bags pls

I was comparing the top players from this year vs last year and the different systems. Last year only a few people got over 1000. So on average, everyone should have a lot more candy than last year if they spent a similar amount of time

I'm pretty sure they did it legit. I saw them on all day every day during the event. Also, the person with the most candy happens to be an admin.

I'm not sure what you mean. Yes, we can see when people say "free candy" just like any other player can. It doesn't require any special power though.

No. That would be way too many updates for us. I don't know why you think these people cheated. Believe it or not, some people are just good at finding and collecting candy.

I don't know what makes you think this. There's no way to cheat. I've collected 650 candies so far, and that's from collecting maybe a total of 5-6 hours (if even that). And there's always those hardcore types playing all day and night to get the top scores. Also, their numbers have been going up at a very steady rate, if you've noticed. There's no cheating going on.

Also, the people complaining about mazes just make me laugh. First of all, you should be zoomed out and pan the house to make sure there's even candy there. If there's just empty bowls, move on (and don't assume candy is inside a house unless the owner specifically says so). If they do have a ridiculously long maze set-up (and you don't have the necessary bomb-glitching skills to skip most of it), then just move on. If there's other people in the house, hop to one of their houses. Use your friends list. Walk around Graal city (there's always tons of people advertising their candy). When you get to a house that has statues (of other candy givers), use those statues! If you're lucky, you could get 5 candies in like 30 seconds by using those statues that some people put out.

Surely everyone knows by now that you can visit the same house on a daily basis, as well. It's not difficult. I actually find it kind of fun going through houses as fast as I can and collecting candy.

Nope. I don't, nor have I ever, had a maze of any kind, that involves forcing people to go through bushes/grass to get to something.

My candy is right at the entrance.
