If you make a 1k hat you will get it right? But say if the leader or some person kicked the hat maker out of the guild at the last minute and they're replaced, by any chance will the maker get the hat? I was just wondering.
completely up to the Guild Leader, though i'm not entirely sure how 1K Hat Submissions work - i believe you submit a list so there couldn't be any last minute changes
The guild leader is supposed to submit the hat once it's finished and tell you who made it. Sometimes the hat maker him/herself would email it and the guild leader would tell me that they were doing so. The guild leader should also have the hat maker included in the guild that holds the 25 people that should receive it.
When I was the one managing guild hats I never had an incident where the hat maker was scammed out of their hat...I guess I can see that happening...
Wait also just wondering, if you made a hat and posted it online and the leader of a guild claims one of their member is the hat maker what happens? You got evidence and also your signature on it

What kind of "evidence"? When I used to make graphics I would use photoshop so I always had a backup of the project file (PSD), this would be the best form imo. However, that's kind of messy business. I know that if you steal another's work for something like gift submissions the hat will be removed. On the other hand, guild hats are usually comissioned with the promise of being on the list, you take the risk in chosing the patron to work with.
Not to get scammed when you make a squad hat for a squad and you don't know (well) the leader : post this hat on graalians so classic admins see you are the artist.
