I, too, hook my laptop up to my monitor. I've been wanting to get an actual computer for a while but stuff keeps coming up that requires money so I constantly have to postpone getting it. But it's no big deal, my laptop works fine as a computer for now so not like I'm deep in the craphole you seem to be in holy cow u poor thing.

It's not too bad if you have a dock to put it on with display ports, USB ports, etc. Without a dock though, it's pretty much cable hell (case and point). You definitely can't beat a tower though.

Developers. I'd love three screens: 1 for code, 1 for other software tools (SSMS, remote desktop, etc) and 1 for web browsing/emails.
