Anti-Cheat
Speeders. What can be done about them? Not talking about the one's that are going faster than light itself, just the one's that are barely noticeable by a small group of people. Not accusing anyone, but some are using a little lag to make themselves skip around, thus masking their noticeable speed. Pretty clever, but still barely visible. Heard that there used to be an anti-cheat for speeding, but it didn't work as intended. Speeding and vpning is becoming the norm for sparring. The GMs don't really have any tools to detect this. Since nothing is being done, it now looks like everyone is doing whatever they can to have some sort of advantage. Again, what can be done? I don't believe that the answer is to hire more GMs to monitor 24/7... Humans can make mistakes, and not everyone is able to differentiate the slight speed boosts. |

They have a system for catching macroers based off their movements I believe, wouldn't it be possible to integrate that to detect speed in a sense? Or at least derive from the macroing detector.

You would think it would be easily detectable, but maybe lag makes it difficult for detection programs as well?

I'm no tech wizard on this stuff, but if each spar match area was an individual instance ( total 4 instances) would that only mean two people are loading into the level? Then this would drastically reduce lag from the strain on the server so you could more easily differentiate someones "baseline" delay and if they were excessively skipping around? Please someone help me out with the technical stuff |

In the meantime I don't see reasons to spend time on releasing a new client, we don't have any major bug

Btw, Graal should be bought out by Valve so we can have some of that dank Valve Anti-Cheat, which catches 100% of cheaters. |
