It's morally wrong to follow the tax code that the Democratic candidate has allowed her mega-donors to abuse for the past X amount of years? Trump can and will fix it. He has no reason not to. If he didn't want to, he could just as easily sit out of this election and continue to avoid paying millions in taxes while remaining a billionaire. If anyone thinks his candidacy is financially motivated, I'd like for you explain to me how that makes sense. It's not even an argument that Clinton's is, it's proven fact.
If anyone thinks for a second that Qatar's $1m donation to the Clintons, written off as a "birthday present for Bill," comes without strings attached then you're kidding yourself. Sharia law rules Qatar. Flogging and stoning are legal. Forced labor and human trafficking are epidemics there. I bet they just sent Bill a $1m check out of the goodness of their heart, right? So yeah, no one supporting Clinton should be bringing up morality when it comes to where they get their money. |

Believe it or not the government doesn't just burn the money they get from taxes, they invest it into the economy and into the country. Some investments are good and some can be bad, but it does a better job than Trump spending his money on foreign imports. If taxes are as bad as you say then why doesn't he just leave the loopholes open so no one has to pay?
I don't think Trump is financially motivated, you're right saying when you say he could make more money by not running. But I don't think he's motivated by wanting to make the country better, I mean I can't think of one example where he's done something genuinely shows that he cares about the country. Would he not pay his taxes if he wanted to reduce the debt or get the economy going? Would he not source his steal locally rather than illegally importing it? Would he not source jobs from the US rather than foreign countries if he wanted to create jobs in the US? And I don't think you can just say it's a smart business move, there's a lot of firms that don't do it. |

Honestly, though, if someone wants to criticize and dislike Trump, they should do it based on the **** he says, not because he didn't pay federal income taxes because he legally didn't have to.
Yes, it is. But I'm pretty sure it's a **** move that anyone who had that chance would take. |

A lot of the stuff seems quite small but Trump's whole campaign is about making America great again, what has he done for the country to show that he wants to do this? His business is massive, he could quite easily make his products in the US - they would just cost more. If he really cared about employment would he not produce all of his stuff in the US rather than elsewhere?

Why would you want to bring back jobs that companies can pay a Chinese man .23 cents on the hour to do? That stifles business. I would much rather add a tax on their imported products than try and force them to bring their workforce back to America.

Who the hell is going to pay more taxes than they legally have to? No one. end of story. The problem with making a "good" tax plan is that the federal budget is inversely related to economic growth. Trump wants major tax cuts, which will made a deficit budget and add to government debt; but it really will help our embarrassingly low GDP and inflation. Hillary wants to spike taxes on the highest income brackets, which will hurt large businesses; but even with a surplus budget, she will barely be scratching the surface of government debt. |
