Hai guys in this guide i will teach u how 2 spar like me!!!

Step 1: wait until your mom leaves the house
Step 2: go to her purse and get the credit card
Step3: buy 100 dollar of gralat
Step4: buy bar
Step 5: run around and spray bullets
Step 6: You will never lose!!!!

Protip: if u call ur opponent noob or say they suck, you almost always win!!!

I ran around spraying... I had no bullets tho... Srsly created issues...
I don't appreciate the bad rep now... Oh, I forgot the part about calling noob gosh... I'll try this all over again cept, can I like not buy another bar? Oh wait, got it free...

Step 9: Ignore all previous steps, get a job, work for 15 hours, get paid, buy gralats, buy m4 (not BAR), practice for 10 hours using the skills you see other players using, reset spar, and SHABAM! 100% wins 0% losses from then on ;)

In my opinion, sparring in iera is severely flawed and unbalanced. Atleast in iclassic each sparrer comes into the arena on equal terms. In iera more than half of the spar is about who has the better gun. Sure, you can get around that with a crap load of skill, but thats besides the point of the problem... You shouldn't need to accommodate for someone having a better weapon in a spar. That's like an (american) football team with all the safety armor pads, helmets, and high tech gear strapped on playing against another team with just t shirts and jeans. No contest. Even if the team with t shirts and jeans pulls together and wins and somehow avoids injuries , they shouldn't have to. Its a football game, and like any other game its not fun or practical in any situation for someone to have a large advantage by means other than acquired skill.

I never said Call of Duty was a balanced game. I prefer halo for the reason I stated above. In order to have a spar that is actually fair and makes sense you shouldn't have the option to buy a significant advantage over your opponent. The only attainable advantage should be skill. That is it. Just because its a video game doesn't justify that iera's spars are severely broken.

But then again CoD is doing a lot better than the Halo series for the simple reason of multiplayer. People want to be the best, and therefor work for it. I have all the "Advantage" weapons. BAR, Shipka, ect, but M4 is better than them both. People complain about the gun and never take the time to see it as a chance to get better.

Its not a chance to get better. Its a chance to have an advantage over an opponent that cannot overcome it with purely skill. That is not a spar. What should seriously be considered is that every single weapon should be free only when sparring, and you can choose which ever you want against your opponent. If you truly think that the current system is fair, then this would be a great idea

Then what would be the point of getting a better weapon if you can't use it? Personally I don't care because I use M4, but people buy weapons to use them, that should not be taken away from them.

It's easy to say classic is more fair. They only have a base of three weapons that everyone has. Nothing to work for.

What do you mean if you cant use it? You can only use them for free in spar. If you want a better weapon for pking and in the overworld, you would actually have to go and buy it. I dont understand what you mean by "working for" the weapons. If they are balanced, what is there to work for? Isn't it just skill? Why would you need an M4? And then it begs the question that if you have to work for these unbalanced weapons (you seem to be suggesting they are) ....then is it really about the sparring and the skill that gets you the advantage for the win? Or is it just the money? If it is, that doesnt seem like a fun spar system by any means in my book.

Oh I see what you mean now. Are you suggesting that there should be different spar rooms for different classes of weapons? If so it then I could agree to that. But most people in era realize its not about the ratio anymore.
