I hope you don't actually think this is possible in graal's current state or maybe even ever

Of course it isn't possible in Classic's current state, but this new 3D version which is made in a newer and different engine that can be put on consoles is a whole different story

Watch them release this game in like 2025, or never. Don’t get your hopes high up. Also it would look kinda ugly with the custom uploads. Just drop that. Don’t know how they will manage to make custom edited uploads fitted without making it blocky, blurry and cheap.To be honest, I don’t feel like this game will be relevant as the 2D platform.

You know, You do make a good point in terms of the custom thing(Your point of them maybe releasing it in 2025 is also a good point because...Well it's graal we are talking about), But i'm really curious how they are going to make customs work, Or they may change it all together, One of the biggest reasons graal gets money at all is from people who just pay for gralats to change their character, They can make their character look like whatever the hell they want in the 2D, I mean you can even become a tomato with rainbow hair...Literally, Don't know how they are gonna manage this in the 3D version,

Unless they seriously expect the common 13 year old to be able to build a character in Blender, Which i would not expect if i was them, Because Blender is an absolute literal pain in the *** to use even for someone like myself who uses it every other week or so.  

custom uploads will just be an in-game paintbrush in which you paint over a blank head lol

updates won't be as frequent as literally all of graal graphics rn are made by teens who essentially work for free in an art medium that is much easier to pick up than 3d modelling  

im gonna repeat what i said many years ago, a 3d graal server should literally just be classic but 3d. same camera, same game mechanics etc. would be a good place to start.

i dont mind this new 3d project though, it looks a lot more promising than the last ones.

Graal is not safe for children so Nintendo will never give it a chance

Graal kinda ripped their **** off too  

In response to the confusion people had about 3D replacing the 2D versions of the game: This is not the case. It will be a new, separate game.

What about Warframe? Warframe released on Switch in November, it's a free online 3D TPS game with blood and gore, and by default in the hub there is global chat.

You’re comparing a game with an adult 18+ rating that has an actual team of paid employees to handle most things to a 9+ age rated game that is mostly used as a chatroom that freely allows kids to date online with the only reliance about safety being the random people that volunteer to moderate the game.

Ofcourse it’s not like bad things happen on purpose but safety concerns like these play a huge part in Nintendo’s actions and this stigma that graal has is enough reason for them to completely avoid it  

Thank god it will be a seperate game, good move there

What is it with people and comparing Graal to real games  

Problem with your stigma theory is that it only exists to people who actively play the game and have for a while - if a Nintendo employee were to download it and take a look it’s not something they’d pick up on. There is literally no “stigma” surrounding Graal, just players who think the dating scene is weird. Every kids game with an open chat room experiences the same thing as Graal.

Also, Graal 3D is a separate game - so nothing in iClassic is even relevant (which means if this ‘stigma’ existed it wouldn’t even matter). Most game moderators don’t get paid on other games either, a lot of MMOs similar to Graal make use of volunteers.

The problem with Graal and Nintendo is just a legal issue and nothing more, factoring in that Nintendo once filed a lawsuit (or threatened too - essentially the same thing in corporate eyes) against Graal would most likely be the only reason they don’t publish it (if it passed other requirements for publication on the Switch).  

I’ve seen other games with a little more complex art style offering templates to buy in-stores that allow you to paint and draw over them.After that you can put your art up for sale at the in-game store and it allows people to buy your creation.It creates its own little market between the player making the graphics (seller) and the player buying the graphics (buyer) while still allowing the game to profit when the buyer runs out of in-game currency.
