Are sparkle shields not allowed?

Do you have the file? I think I know what you mean but just want to be sure.  

Not sure if it’s very visible but it’s probably the one you’re thinking of.

I was thinking of a different one but this is close. The only reason I can think of one not being allowed would be it flashing rapidly.

So this kind is allowed? "Flashing rapidly" seems like the wrong excuse as the shield changes very slowly. It's not harmful for epileptic players. This is the second time a shield like this has existed for a long time and manages to get nuked. Really annoying that I don't have the file for it. The shield code for the one in question is "luly_hohoho_shield.gif"

Ida wears a gold variant of the shield and it's not at all dangerous for epileptic people. It's quite relaxed.

Alright, checked into it and found the file and I was wrong about the denial reason. It was removed and shields like it wont be allowed as they act as a substitute for the cookie sparkle effect. I've updated the original post and sent a reminder to the staff.

Man that sucks... I really enjoy those shields too. I totally get it, though. Thanks for the clarification.

I should note that shields like this one are still fine, since they don't act as a substitute for the cookie effect. Maybe you can get something close enough to it this way?

I could if we were allowed a larger shield filesize. Not having both sides visible in the back view is pretty jarring for myself. I’ll just make due without. I appreciate the transparency on this issue.

That's odd. If you have one available to you, try opening and saving it with a different program.

I've tried converting the file, changing the settings, saving it within a file that's worked before, nothing seems to work.
Edit I had to use an external site that would repair a corrupted file but this makes no sense since I started fresh multiple times.  

I had this head up for a few months but it got deleted without reason, when I try to upload again it says it can't be accepted because of an accessory.




I did research and found the accessory that they think the beard looks like, and if you do a side-by-side comparison, while there are vague similarities, they really aren't that close.




I get stuff that has like glasses or whatever but deleting a head just because the mustache on a beard is slightly but not really similar is pretty stupid

Seems fine to me. Make some minor change to it (maybe fix the outline? Looks like a few black pixels are missing in the top part of the image you sent) and it should allow you to resubmit it.

We'll be allowing shields that borrow elements from hats or accessories to accompany them, whereas previously they would have been denied under this rule.
