I've been killing these worms for like 30 minutes and haven't gotten a single key. How often do they drop?

Have you checked your quest folder for it? I'm pretty sure there's no actual indicator when you pick it up.

I adore the trippy glitch aesthetic. I have notice that using the shovel to herd it into a corner to kill, is affective as it bounces off snowballs.

When you just enter hardmode in terraria and the destroyer spawns on you in your base.

It all really comes down to luck. Make sure you keep checking your quest folder because I'm fairly certain that there's no indicator for actually picking it up.

Huge "bug" found near castle area,I wonder if anyone else spotted this? (I will report to staff soon after this post.) EDIT:This is actually not a bug but a game feature, maybe a new quest?

I've been killing these mobs for approx 2-3 hours, don't have the key yet.

some people I know received the keys in the first 5 minutes. So this definitely is a luck based drop.

Don't know if I am doing something wrong or not.

Anyone got anymore tips? I’m starting to feel guilty chopping these beasts to bits. They don’t even drop anything but I’m still just slashing em up

Has anyone received a key within the past few days? Seems like anyone late to the party is struggling to get the keys. If a dev could check to see that the worm are still dropping them, that would be nice. Blob and pk zones were broken for months before anyone noticed. Never can tell if the key drop is busted as well.

Who cares about getting the keys when seemingly there is no use for them after the past like two or three weeks theyve been in the game

Maybe i'm wrong but i know developers are watching the forum so maybe they left the key so it's a limited quest? Because i think they already know no one can get a key since a while. I mean i don't know what will be the use for that key, but maybe they did it on purpose so first the people who got the key will have a "premium access" then they will allow others to get the key. I'm saying it again but maybe i'm wrong i just find weird no one can get it since a long time (i got the key)
