i'm from Era, but I'm posting here because I am unaware of any Era-specific bug report thread for WebGL.

Since the WebGL update I feel a large input delay for keyboard + mouse inputs, especially when they are sent at a high rate. To be specific, by input delay I mean there is a period of time between sending an input, such as pressing a key to move, and then seeing it being registered on screen.

There are no issues with my keyboard, mouse, browser, or computer, as I have tried 4 different machines (3 windows, 1 mac), different browsers (Chrome & Firefox), different internet connections, as well as various mice and keyboards. Although the input delay may exist across all servers, it is especially apparent on Era when changing directions very quickly with the keyboard and shooting fast with the mouse.

This is the correct place to report web gl bugs for Era too (or any of the graal games), so you've come to the right place!

Do you find this issue is worse in more crowded areas/better in less crowded areas by chance?  

I've tried 3 browsers for Era so far and only Chrome has worked (Firefox and Microsoft Edge wouldn't let me move at all). On Chrome, saying it "worked" is laughable. I can barely move at all when there are more than a few people on my screen (so yes, more crowded is a lot worse). When I do move it is incredibly slow, almost like I'm walking with the zombie morph, haha. As for typing... when I first launch the game, I always have to hit the search bar and type a few letters or else I cant type anything at all in game. I keep getting "not enough memory allocated" on Chrome too, despite what the spoiler says. My browser is updated as of yesterday. I am also frequently getting the "out of memory" errors when I'm playing. It takes at least 5-15 tries to launch the game once. Right now the PC version is completely unplayable for me and my account isn't able to be used beyond sitting at start afking. If you have any follow up questions or suggestions, please do let me hear them. I would enjoy being able to play Graal on my PC again.

Sorry for the late reply, the delay is definitely worse in crowded areas but there is still a noticeable input delay in empty levels.

On iClassic quite a few PKers and Sparrers stopped using the WebGL client. Most of us use an android emulator called Bluestacks. Ironically it runs the game beautifully. If you have a Windows computer I highly suggest trying it.

Unfortunately for those of us Mac users, we can install it but most of the hotkeys don't work. It does run a lot better, though. The most we can do with our keyboard is walk, swing and use the D button. Everything else requires mouse clicks.  

A new update is out for WebGL.

Copy and paste are now available for Google Chrome users, and copy is available in Firefox.
Enter should no longer appear in chat when hitting enter.

This is very exciting I'm glad it's being worked on! Keep up the good work
The double pressed word spam is still an issue but this only happens when you type really fast or fat finger two keys  

Copy and paste aren't working for me. I'm on Mac and I use Chrome.  

My WiFi is now a VPN? lol.... Does this to me on Chromium and Chrome
I can log into mobile fine. Idk what's wrong

I don't know if WebGL is still being worked on but typing is abysmal, it really ruins a lot of interactions when my keyboard just decides to skip 3 letters and refuses to type them out. It's quite inconvenient to relog from the game every now ad thn bbecus y kebord breks.

True in my experience as well. The chat stuttering was never actually fixed.  

I still am getting OpenGL errors on every browser I have tried (Opera GX, Chrome, Edge, Firefox). All are fully updated. OperaGX runs Graal the smoothest, it seems, but that is irrelevant when I can't launch the game due to the OpenGL errors. Sometimes it will let me on very rarely but it requires a lot of refreshing the page. I've been trying for the past 10-15 min and it's never-ending OpenGL errors on all browsers :/  

really is a trainwreck considering the 13? year old client can run the game just fine. a lot of my complaints have not been addressed and i suspect they were given up on a long time ago.
