Hope this comes for Wii U or DS lite

I'm thinking its for 3DS only. They said the series evolves with the consoles and so now the 3DS gets it with support for the normal DSes being dropped :/.  

Here's a PNG version of one of the scenes in the video. Looks much nicer and you can see the cell shaded inspiration shining through. I think it looks really nice.

That picture looks amazing! My Pokemon experiences on X and Y will be fantastic  

The new Pokemon designs still look horrible.
Nothing can make me want to play Pokemon again unless they do a remake of R/S/E

Ah yes agreed! That was definitely my favorite generation of pokemon. I was really hoping that remakes of R/S/E were what they were going to announce today instead of Gen VI.  

I've always disliked the R/S/E games.

With the exception of mudkip y'know  

Theres also some word of it being for wiiU as well, not sure if thats true though.

Nintendo's trailer only shows the 3DS. I mean its possible, but in over a decade they have never brought any of the main games to their "home" consoles, only the spin offs of the series. So I would say its unlikely that they will bring it to the Wii U.  

Pretty sure I've read interviews where they have stated specifically that they never intend to bring the main games to console because they're meant to be portable. Silly, but they seem dead set against making it a console game.

Well, it is called "Pocket monsters" in japan...  

If they ever put the main Pokemon games to the Wii u or just the Wii, they will make big money

Maybe, but absolutely nothing about Pokemon is geared towards portable play. The only thing that makes it a pick-up-and-play game is the fact that you can save at absolutely any time out of battle.  

A reason for me not to sell my 3DS! I was planning on selling mine after playing through Luigi's Mansion : Dark Moon.

Never really a reason to sell a console. You don't really get back nearly enough to justify it. May as well keep it and occasionally find a game you might enjoy on it.
