But the gas mask was too big, and didnt leave enough room to accomodate more heads (with eye placement, and such). So I shrunk it down a bit.

HomoPanda wanted me to edit Coop's hat, so I changed the wings, along with the shape of the hat. I used the wings from here, and also the golden discs since they were already attached to the wings, and HP wanted them.

now that i see the back view the hat I figured you stole from wouldn't work seeing as it was the sock cap hat. Although the tops are very very very similar.

You already admitted to editing coops hat, which in itself proves my point that I was making.

as for the gas mask, this is the one i was referring to, pic is blurry due to facebook

they look very similar to me, except the one you have in angled down a bit more and fat. Idk, It seems like a lot of editing and a lot less making in my perspective. I would love to see a sample of your work that you made entirely from scratch

Note: the gas mask in the pic above it from Era PC and I did not make it, just using as an example.

No, I didn't do a whole template for you. The shading on the right one is "ehh," but whatevs. You get the idea.

Thats a really poor combination of sources you ripped right there.
And especially, this edited version is worse than the previous version (Gas mask smaller, round edges?,etc.)

If anything, use the sprites as a reference to the size,style, and shading of your hat, rather than ripping sprites, pasting them together and calling it a guild hat, regardless of permission or not

I'm not trying to sound rude against you at all but i don't think that should be the 1k guild hat in opinion  

1) I said why I made the gas mask smaller....

2) And the only things I pasted on were the wings and the center filter on the gas mask.

3) I didn't make the hat to my liking. I took in the opinions of the players receiving the gang hat and did what they wanted done. I was told there needed to be a gas mask, so I added one. I was told there should be wings so I took the wings that I just finished making for the edit of Coop's hat. I was told the gas mask was too big, so I made it smaller, and if I didn't round the edges it would've looked completely rectangular.  

I'm going to have to agree with Maikeru. It looks like a random combination and the first one looks better than all of them. Instead of wings you could have some tubes connecting on the hat with a toxic glowing chemical and make the clear part have a glass looking effect.  

I tried the glass looking effect, but it wouldn't come out the way I wanted. And by first one you mean the white one?

Yes, that combination looks more realistic. A gas mask and wings looks more random. Speaking of the gas mask it's sticking outside of the template:  

Yes the first one is by far my favorite. That's what I did before I took into account the opinions of the gang members. Trust me, I'm with you guys on the gas mask thing. I think they're overused, and tacky. But I'm not the only one getting the hat so... And ya that's why I had to make the filters smaller.

I must agree. The hat has two clashing ideas, winged helmet and gas mask, and it doesnt mesh together right when put together.  

Ya rexx, I know. I was against the gas mask from the start. But since it is a "gang hat" everyone's opinions have to be considered.  

Tell you what.. If you'd like, On Tuesday, i could help with creating your hat but from scratch. No copy n pasting. We'll hold onto the gas mask and ill try to work on the base of the hat while you try to do the minor details (wings,etc.)

Sounds fair or do you think you could try fully custom?

Rok can make an original hat if he wanted to; he's a beast graphics artist. He is only made the hat to appeal to paybacks wants and because hp wanted that winged hat in the first place to be incorporated.
