If you read first post you would know my Pc/Laptop broke and still broke... the point is that players shouldn't have to be in or have tag of an Admin Art guild to get stuff they made to get ongame so thats like 25players + allies... Theres more than 1100players+ on server at most times. so the problem is most actually don't get the chance unless selective chosen to join guild.may not be hard to join the guilds but not the point, they shouldn't just allow theres guilds only to get stuff they made on game.

25x5= 125. That's 1/10th of the players on this game, you can't assume everyone on this game does graphics. Why do you care so much about it if your computers broken. Even if it was open contests, you wouldn't be able to participate

I don't ever see any complaints about not being able to get your stuff on the server. If you really wanted to then you would join the Initiative, it was made so regular players can ,even more, easily contribute.

Find something new to complain about please

I think the Initiative family is nothing but a good addition to Classic. They show us at their museum some awesome pieces of art and they produce many good Graphic Designers. What i believe would be idealistic is the creation of a new room in the museum where the public can show their stuff. What do you guys think?

I don't ever see any complaints about not being able to get your stuff on the server. If you really wanted to then you would join the Initiative, it was made so regular players can ,even more, easily contribute.

main point of post was:
That all should be able to get hats/furniture etc on game without having to be specificly chosen to go in admin art guild. Just cause' they have guild doesn't mean everyone who likes creating stuff should HAVE to be in guild. I'm free to speak how I think, if you don't agree I really don't see why? probs defending guild? But I'm not against guild in the slightish.

Daphne's idea was nice idea  

It's a guild that makes art and has contests. I fail to see the problem.

Their contests involve getting the art being put in the mueseum. Something other guilds do not have the ability to do, basically the guilds unfair if they have perks no other guild has. If you do it for one you do it for all.

That was the full intention of the guild. They recruit good pixel artists and showcase their artwork. It isn't hard to join, so it's certainly not unfair.

They recruit beginners who don't now a thing about pixel art and make crappy gradient or pillow shaded stuff. In my opinion the guild should be harder to join if the players want good stuff added.

Bams right in a sense. I could be a lot harsher on who I let in like Eon, but I choose I let beginners in to help them. Quit arguing, it's easy to get in, if you're "too cool" for a guild or have some other reason why you don't want to join a guild, don't take it up with us.

The guild doesn't give criticism properly. The only feedback you get is 'AMAZING' and 'wow' etc. That doesn't help you improve. The first time I ever excelled in pixel art was when I stopped making graal stuff. I joined pixel art communities and got better each day. I suggest all of the initiative sign up and get feedback from people that have been making pixel art for years.

The beginners also don't know about color selection or color count with pixel art. A piece Chisel posted on pj wasn't accepted because it use something like 80-90 colors for a small avatar.

Their lineart is terrible and needs a lot of work. A lot of people have ths error in their work:


Don't get me started on the paintings. They use effects, filters and a ton of other tools not native to pixel art in their paintings. When they make the outlines they don't clean the up or do it.

I'll write a sh*t ton more later.  

Hmm i was never involved with the guild but was told to give suggestions and tips to it's members. The guild was created by staffs not players, therefore a staff will interview a person before he/she is allowed to take part in the assignments.
Also, reason the guild/forums isn't for the public eyes is to prevent people from seeing updates and also from other servers taking content. There was a issue that one person submitted his content to the assignments and then later was used on another server...

So what if a hat (or anything) is used on another server? It's technically still the creator's property. Eurocenter doesn't own it since it was uploaded to an unofficial forum meaning the owner can do what they want with it.
