Advice for the Head I'm Working On?

The hair could use some more shading along with the face. I would also make the chin more roundish instead of pointy. It looks good though so far nice job.

On-topic, I like your graphic - it isn't bad for a first start. I would suggest moving the eyes down to cover up more of the forehead with hair, and the overall shape isn't really like a head. It's more like an egg - heads should be more like the shape of an apple, or maybe an orange, but a big orange, more like a grapefruit really? |
