It could be added still, just not as a holiday item. I'm sure the functionality would be nice.

Where I live we don't celebrate independence day, so I wasn't aware of it untill one day before the event

I didn't think about this type of thread until I saw it the day before.  

Neither do we celebrate it in germany but thats something you even get told in your english lessons... or in your history lessons

I don't have history in my subject package, and in my english class they only worry about CAE tests and all that sort of stuff :p

Then we need more independence days from other cultures. I've said before, the more the merrier when it comes to different cultural holidays. I myself am curious about other cultures.
