Where do you guys find the time to write this walls of text?

We have lots of friends and very active social lives, if you catch my drift.  

Staff members are to do what they're told. They can voice their opinions and suggest ideas, but it comes down to what they're told to do.

idk i didnt read your giant post. im just here to vent my rage and i saw "higbey" and assumed it was a post about the corruption of stefan and graal.

I don't agree with this.

We are allowed to protest and share our opinions. The rules are in place for a reason. We shall not rebel, for there are other times and places in which we may share our opinions.  

let me get this right, you want staff to do something which they have been told not to do and not care if they are fired because they know they are a good admin?

sure, all era staff are allowed to summon higbey and kill him on the spot. steal his money and also his hats.  

No no no snk, I think what he's trying to say is that he thinks Graal staff are not able to show their own opinions about the server without getting fired. They obviously are allowed to show their opinions though. Atleast if I followed this thread right, I think that's what he meant :/

thats not what im saying, you people are getting it all wrong, im saying that you can put your foot down, even to stefan, you can tell your opinions to him and refuse, you have more power than you think because you arent replaced easily,  

I have direct contact to Stefan.

If any staff have any issues they direct them to me which I then direct to Stefan if necessary. This isn't going to change.  

i know you guys say you are allowed to show your opinions, but i know because ive heard from some staff on servers that they were able to get away with stuff and able to put their foot down and refuse because they knew it was going to be bad for the game and only going to be making stefan money, its hard to explain, obviously i dont want everyone to just do whatever they want, and disobey stuff thats for a good reason, but i dont want staff to say "well i dont want it and know its bad but im not going to do anything about it".

its hard to explain, its a balance, i just wish more staff were like Rufus is when it comes to morals and opinions, and think that they should be allowed to be that way.  

so do you have something you want me to address with stefan? or do any era staff members? lol  

We already have a high-staff turnover, barring a few staff members, we don't keep people very long.
If we have problems with something, we tell Snk. Hell, I'm forever badgering at him to change things, doesn't mean he will.

You're using me as an example and even I disagree with you. I think you've really got to be staff on a server before you can scope any problems they're facing in terms of the inner-organization lol. There is a hierarchy and span of control on every Graal server, and there always will be, it is not our game. We are not strangled by that control though.

Your real issue is with people who suck up or withold (what you believe to be) their 'true opinions' as players while they are staff. It isn't to do with hierarchy or some kind of overbearing opinion-opression that people face when working on a Graal server. Some people are just like that, and at the end of the day that's their problem. This and what you originally posted aren't really interrelated.

I agree that you should be able to voice your opinion and do what is right to yourself.
I however do not agree that the staff is so easily scared. Nor do I agree that no one really has a voice in this entire thing. The Dev admins have much more experience than Stefan and the Player Relations have more (positive) leeway from the masses.
But I agree that no one here is replaced easily. Remember how long and arduous the selections were for the admins. Stefan is too busy buttering up his bread to want to organize another one of those.

As I said, not following orders is not something to look up to.

Everyone is replaceable and if I knew you released one of my animals because you thought you could just go and do whatever you want, I would fire you.
If I let you get away with it you would get a big head and continue to do stupid idiotic stuff, which applies here to.
