Does anyone remember the time when you couldn't make your own shields and swords, you would have to kinda pm certin people like koujoe,haha then it got leeked out and anyone could upload there stuff, then now everyone can upload and now heads and bodies, it was cool back then it was very enjoyable waiting for the next new bodie or head to come out or the next "cool shield"  

I miss the times where you could upload your swords and shields For Free!
I understand it costs to upload heads and bodies but why in the hell would you charge for swords and shields?

Lol I know it was care free back then it was also a good way of showing off graphics now it's wow a shield I can upload20 (for 200000 gralats)

Many good reasons. As a former upload you have to take my word for it.

-Fewer shields/swords uploaded = FASTER for us to upload. Supply and demand. Less people will wanna pay for it so you filter others out.
-If you're gonna pay for it you're gonna do it right. We get so much crap shields that we can't upload because they don't follow the rules. The system makes everything consistent and if you do suck, we can just reject it when we get to it. Before it was all email and we all know how thousands of shields can be unorganized in an inbox...
-Keep the game alive. Some people don't buy gralat packs but love shield making so there's a different market. A lot of people complain about the game ripping off people, but bills need to be paid. Eurocenter does way too much work for little money. I am surprised the game got this far. No one will ever believe that but try not living with your parents first ;-)
-if people are gonna copy you, they gonna have to pay for it, so you can't feel that mad bwahaha

haha very true
but thats also the thing tho now theres so many recolors and copys and all that stuff combined with the long codes, barely anyone actually uses it any more i bet if we were to go around graal and ask for shield codes under 40% would have personals or less but i didnt mean bad of the system on this [ost just kinda looking back on how players were getting hired off there shield making skills x~x
