Poor hiring method

1. Admins selecting players

This is just a bad idea in general, staff really isgonna pick the people they know well, no one else. I wouldn't expect them to do different as to really make a decision on hiring some random player they'd have to stalk him all night and day to get a good idea of his true character, thank that's not time efficient.

2. Over world Spam

Believe it or not players believe if a staff member sees them answering questions they will look like a better choice for staff and get hired. So now we can have the overworked ****covered with idiots "answering questions" which to some extent is spam.

3. Is this even true

For some reason I think this is just some bull**** scheme to make iEra players "play nice" with the hope they might be hired. It really seems sketchy to me and I'd like to know if era is gonna make a giant idiot move.

The PRA isn't really selecting the players spamming "PM ME IF YOU NEED HELP" or whatever. It is still better than checking all the emails which is taking a crapload of time and probably aren't even true.
If you have any better suggestion feel free to tell it.

The PRAs will be selecting some of the top canidates based off of the other staff's recommendations. I, for one, just finished my recommendations and I recommended players whom I don't necessarily know that well but have proven themselves to me to be capable of the position. Also my recommendees aren't that well known on iEra so you can't also argue that its's just a popularity contest.

I've finished my three recommendations. Only one of my recommendations was someone I personally knew really well, the other two are people I've seen demonstrating good qualities throughout iEra and Graalians.

I'm sure it's all Player Relations members, I'm not to sure about Sound Effects Staff/Graphics or Levels.

I don't approve of the annoucement that was made to players in regards to the hiring, it should have all been done without their knowledge.

Yeah, it should've been secret. There is most likely going to be players acting 'good' and help everyone out and not do their usual thing and say something like: "Get away from me, Noob!" or "Ask someone else, Noob!".

Actually, that's true, I go to start and say "I got a Question I need help!" then nobody pms me.
When they see Reno on the top everyone's jump at me.
"2+2+2x0=?" they respond "0" xD
