hat mannequin
i had this idea to where a feature could be added which allows other players to trade hats using the new furniture item in MoD town. the players choose which hats they wanna trade, they put the hat on the furniture (mannequin) and the other player grabs it and switches hats, the player then could collect his hat from the mannequin. I dont see how this would mane EC less money, your pretty much giving money to buy the mannequin, and your just simply trading.

Or just "borrowing" hats where a player can use the hat on the mannequin until they switch hats. But that could cause some problems with some lending tower guild hats.

If trading were ever implemented it should be done proper with a full-fledged trading system. On the otherhand it'd be interesting to see things like this inherit shop mechanics, and allow players to outright buy these items from other players. But again, as far as I know staff aren't too keen on the idea of implementing trading. |

I don't know, but I doubt that's the reason. Trading/selling still involves gralats, and gralats mean players still buy gralat packs -- Unixmad still makes money. In fact if players were to sell hats they'd probably be selling rare hats and rare hats mean they're not not being circulated anymore: Unixmad wouldn't be making money off of these... but if there were trading these hats would probably sell MUCH higher than shop prices on hats, so chances are it'd be done by someone buying lots of gralat packs. Anyways, I'm not in a position to say what their reason is. |

Why not? It would allow players to obtain hats they've wanted but haven't been able to get due to being unavailable/having no money when it was available. If gralats are used in trading, it would provide a sort of benefit to EC due to gralat pack purchases for trading. It's an overall good idea. Not only that, but rare hats, like my astronaut helmet, would still be rare an valuable due to the same number of hats existing instead of more being put out for sale. So if it's about older, rarer hats becoming common, that's not a problem.

If it will be allowed there should be certain hats that cannot be traded. Guild hats, Event hats and RPS hats. Make more body and head shops. That way people still buy stuff. If there's a head or body someone likes there and they don't want to pay 10k-20k for a custom; they will buy it. Make them like 3.5k-8.5k, you could still use packs for that. Just be sure there's a lot of them and they're actually good.
