Opinions? Personally, I'm against the use of it but the mass use across the country makes me support government regulation. It's something I think about a lot when in a political conversation.

Health reasons.

Many of the supporters say it's "healthy" and "not bad for you".

Lung cancer? Proven. Other complications as well. Cigarettes should be banned as well, but that's just personal opinion, my main issue is the well-being of the people who decide to use it.  

Alcohol is far more intoxicating and dangerous than Marijuana. In my opinion Marijuana, like (almost) all drugs, should be legalized for private use and permitted for sale in stores. The very idea of banning drugs to promote public safety basically increases crime and creates a massive market for it which results in things like the cartel. Kind of counter-intuitive if you ask me. If someone wants to do it, they will find a way to do it. Banning drugs causes more problems than it prevents. Besides, we already have the worst one available for public use: Beer.

Banning something that is "bad" for people doesn't fix the problem. People should decide whats bad for them and if they want to do it by all means do it in private, but don't get me around it. And with the cancer thing, everything causes cancer nowadays apparently.  

That's the only reason I'm supporting government regulation.  

Can be taken in pill form for sick people that need it, : people still want smoking it to be legal, and allowed for the healthy....

It is bad to smoke marijuana like its bad to smoke cigarettes, as soon as its allowed big companies will produce marijuana cigarettes, with all the preservatives, poisons, pesticides, and other chemicals cigarettes have in them now..

Worse are the effects of it and the second hand smoke..

We still need to get tobacco lobbyists outlawed and shut down so those idiots that smoke are forced to stop, so we can go outside without their poisonous smoke in our air, so we don't have the filthy ash and cigarette butts on our streets, so they don't make people have to pay.

Think of how many lives could be saved if we outlawed alcohol, drinking alcohol isn't heathy, that stuff about red wine being healthy? That's the grape juice, the alcohol isn't what makes it healthy, you could drink grape juice and get the same stuff!


You know why we can't get rid of them? People are addicted and think its their right to be able to poison themselves and others and cost other people's lives, and with the rich companies using lobbyists to pay off politicians, they stop caring about what the people want, and each year cost lives and take years off people's lives because they won't stop it.


So no, last thing we need is marijuana companies.  

Yeah, I am against smoking any substance in public. That is impacting someone else that has nothing to do with it. But doing it privately away from others should be permitted and it should be sold in stores.  

And if they try to get around it? Crack down on them.

They want to try it? Go to las vegas, I'm sure they will allow it. Once all the idiots are there lets nuke em from space.

Problem is it's hard to keep it in private. They try to drive like with alcohol...  

I support decriminalization. if someone grows some in their backyard and wants to smoke it, who are you to take that away from them. There's a reason it's called weed, it's easy to grow. However, we really don't need companies marketing it, or really even having it sold in shops, besides for medical purposes.  

Well honestly i'm not against it, it's not cause i'm black or because i smoke(I don't). From what i know the only thing that fhucks you up from Cannibas is the THC, i Dont agree to smoke anything in public or drugs period. But weed cant kill you at all, it's just that Some people are stupid by their self and get killed. You cant overdose on it. It cures or treats Cancer and Glochoma. Marajuanna from what i've seen just makes you hell of Lazy and hungry. I dont know why they wanna say it kills you when it doesn't if you dont believe me. Try and test it or something if you smoked it for like 10-15 i dont think you'd be harmed as much as if you smoked Tobacco for 10-15 years. Weed can't make you kill yourself or anything bad like that. If you dont believe me try and find out who overdosed on it, or killed theirself, or got cancer from it. Cannabis isn't harmful in my book

It's not the best for you, and I wouldnt recommend it :] Unless you want to be in prison, I would say no to drugs and say yes to tacos.

Hahahha, can't kill? Maybe not immediately, cures cancer? That's a lie, it cannot cure cancer just by smoking it, its a treatment to help with treatment of certain cancers, it doesn't need to be smoked.

The way it affects your lungs is horrible, it's smoking, and trust me, big marijuana companies would spring up, people wont just do that all in their homes, at least not all of the users.
