Servers
I just wanted to know what are servers like, are they a physical thing like your hard drive ect or is it something lingering around on the internet. (I do know that they are used to share files between people which are called clients, via internet) and also what are their price range? (not to rent to keep the server) and if it is a physical machine are there any pics i could see?

you can host a server off of your computer or any computer for free with the right software and good upload speeds/ram/processor, though for security reasons I do not reccommend it. any machine with access to internet can be a server, though a powerful machine is recommended and hosting from home internet can have security risks from hackers. Also, hosting off of Linux is far better than Windows or mac. Also you need a purpose for a server and a program to run on the server and do a bunch of port forwarding. |

We call a server a server (aka a playerworld) just because we feel like it Plus it wouldnt sound right if we said playerworldside script instead of serverside script |
