2 MB/s is different than 2 Mb/s. Sounds like you're getting what's advertised.2 MB/s=16mbps Try making sure you dont have panda media booster running. If you do, uninstall it. That thing eats your bandwidth. Also isps tend to advertise the peak data rate-late at night the data rate is higher on cable when not as many people are using it. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_...nits#section_1 b stands for bit and B stands for byte.
