I personally think it's stupid, but I guess it is everybody's choice... But yeah, wish it was impossible to lie about your gender, too, but it's the internet. Pretty sure part of the definition is to be able to lie about your sex. |

Back on topic, I think it is fine as long as peoples do not take it to seriously. It is stupid to get your heart broken over a guy who lives thousand of miles away from you. Chances are you will not ever meet him, so why waste time on it?

Most of the time it isn't serious to the point where they are committed to them IRL. It's all a part of roleplaying. My character needed a woman who could withstand his dual personalities and rock hard body. No one other than LADY GAGA, another freak of nature and a first class ho, could tolerate his awesomeness. Obviously we are not dating in real life but we like to pretend we are on the game for the lulz. In a way we are kind of making fun of others who take it seriously. For example we exagerate how much we love eachother in guild chat to such a degree that it is psychopathic. We have grown good friends outside of the game and hopefully one day we will go to Vegas with the other staff members. We all have relationships outside of the game. I LOVE HER SO MUCH I AM PUTTING 20 KIDS IN HER OMGOMG!!!:!&:@3 |

I don't know how I feel about online dating. If you honestly really like someone online then I can see why you might want to go down that route, but I'm not convinced that everyone does. I've been asked to "e-date" people I don't even know, or have known from just a few PM's. I really pity the people who "date" before they get to know the person, it's just a really sad thing to do. If I were going to "e-date" someone I'd have to had know them for years, and even then, it'd only be a relationship with the intent of meeting that person. You can't really know a person until you have met them face to face.
