When somebody breaks a record on Graal, I think it would be cool if Xor or someone sent out broadcast message congratulating them, and perhaps reward them with Gralats or something. When I say "break a record" I mean stuff like: most baddy kills, most pks, most spar wins, most spar losses, most hours. Because I know breaking those records is not easy, and if I were to do that I would want some recommendation or reward. Wouldn't you?

And it would promote the more competitive side of Graal.
What do you guys think?

No, I can't really see something like this happening. Too much boosting and account transferring going on for that.  

Bob gets 20000 hours: congradulations you beat a record, you get a prize.
Mary gets 20001: congratz you beat the record heres a prize.
Bob then gets 20002:YAY YOU BEAT THE RECORD. HERES ANOTHER PRIZE.

This would just go on and on and they would each pass the record several times

Stuff like this used to happen... remember when NYN would broadcast "Congratulations (guild____) for 1000 fort hours!" and that kinda thing? In fact i think Magic and Helsing were the last times he did that:/

o wait this doesnt matter anymore. tower guilds these days arent legit anyway.  

There are already popups for high scorers in spar and archery. Announcements for breaking records would end up in spam. The high scorers I don't think should really be rewarded with anything special. Just a name and number like most games is enough.  

lol most spar losses would mean that people wouldn't even try to win. They'd probably be boosting other players.  

Many staff members tend to do this when things like this happen, anyway. In fact, there used to be broadcast messages for every guild once they reached 1000 guild fort hours.. I think its really up to the staff online at the time. Although, now that we have the event notification, wouldn't it fit better with event messages?
