The intent of scamming irl money is enough to have you punished. So yes a screenshot is enough

I understand that jest, But at the same time I don't think a screenshot would be substantial evidence. What if the person is trying to trade a fake or old iTunes code for an auction rare? Would his punishment be the same even tho technically there was no real life currency involved?

iTunes codes are considered irl payment. The same way you'd be jailed for counterfeit money irl, you can get punished for "fake" codes.  

That's sad. Goonsquad are full of scammers and btches. And btw GOON scamming is legal but abusing it can lead to a reset and/or jail.  

Bottom line really is don't do illegal things. Don't try and find loopholes to do illegal things. Use your brain and don't trade with random people. Don't trade at all is my suggestion. Keep your game life and real life separate. Money included fake or not.


I find it actually silly people are confused about those points.

See that's the spirit! Hahaha I can feel your hatred through my iPhone. And I've never heard of anyone being jailed or resetted from scamming regular droppable items. The staff even announce themselves through broadcast messages that they can't do anything if you get scammed (unless it involves itunes codes or real life currency) You would think that snk and the
staff would get sick and tired of scam complaints which I'm more then sure they DO! But they can't do anything about it themselves.. It's out of their power, they can easily make it illegal or develope and approve a trade system but it's not up to them. It's up to the guy who's name starts with an S and obviously he doesn't mind iEra being filled with scammers.  

Goon scamming is legal but don't abuse it... Michael got reset for scamming to much and paul (long time ago) was warned that if he scammed 1 more time he would be banned 9k hours.

Thanks for the heads up Xena, I know ya wouldn't lie to me but honestly I haven't done any dirty business in a long while and I plan to keep it that way. After awhile it gets pointless and you really start to feel like **** lol

I honestly hope they keep doing that in start until they get caught; this thread only draws that much more "alot" of attention to them. I would hope so anyways.  

I hope everyone gets caught. Drop trades were meant for gifting, not scamming. It's sad that there aren't many good, trustworthy people out there... I guess it's also a reflection of the times. Enduring with less than you'd like? Just take if from your brothers and sisters.
