When I lived in the US for a school year, the people who treated me badly were mainly Protestant Christians.
Jews were very kind to me and other Christians, too.
By the way, I made many close atheist friends there.
I don't understand why some people judge you because of your beliefs and race..

As for my personal beliefs, I belive that there is a god, but I do not belive in religion. Why you may ask? Because religion's, proven throughtout history, like to twist and bend things to their benifits. Christianity preaches peace and love, yet the church sent out those whateveryoucallthem which baisically killed anyone who didn't belive in what they did. I do not think that you should have to be catagorized or that anyone in any religion is 100% that. Another reason I claim no religion is because I don't wish to be a hypocrite as most/all religious people are.

The written text in the bible has flaws so therefor I do not read it nor prase it.
1) Noah's ark. Read the passage. He took 1 of everty animal, male and female as well as his family. That means when everything died in the flood all that was left was noah and his family and the animals. So doesn't that mean that we are all imbreading? And I am sure one of the 10 commandments has something to do with infedelity.
2) In the garden of Eden, Eve said that a snake told her to eat the apple and the snake was the devil. A snake or serpant I am not sure. The problem with this passage is, if th Devil is as strong as the bible makes him out to be, how come you don't hear about animals talking telling you to sin more often? Also, how is it known for sure that that even happened? There are no "writings" from that era, maybe some caveman drawings. Also it is said the apple gave man and woman knowlege. Why the hell were cavemen so dumb then?

I do belive in God simply because of the fact that I belive there are somethings we are just not ready to understand yet. Plus it's that mystery "what's on the other side"/"life after death" talk.

Anyways, that is my view and I belive everyone is entilted to their own.

Many people exploit religion and twist it to fit their own benefits and use for their own agenda.
I interpret the bible allegorically.

There is not proof. Religeon is based on ones faith. I believe in ways both science and religeon can co exist. I am a Christian and do believe amazing things can happen in our universe that will be forever unexplained by science.
The more I learn about the world and everything in it and wha makes it up the more I believe there is a God. I do not think we are the product of a Big Bang.
I also feel as if humans think they are smarter than they really are. We know what gravity is, the circumstances needed for it to occur and how it works but we still can't explain why gravity is or why objects can have a gravitational pull.

You should provide specific examples of science disproving religion.

If anything, the extreme complexity that is being found in things such as cells and atoms makes a God even more and more likely. The only "scientific" evidence I've heard is that it all magically came together. Please provide some evidence against what I'm saying...

I feel like you guys should be nicer to the guy. He's clearly interested in these forums so he's willing to dig through threads and read through topics. He provided something productive to the conversation rather than just saying "bump" or something stupid. Perhaps he isn't sure of the rules yet, but is that really his fault?
