The Pattern on Presents mean anything?

So I wanted to know does the pattern on the present really mean anything?
People have told me that the Dotted=Cute Stripes=Cool Zig Zag=Tough and Smart=Checkered.

What is your thoughts on this? Do you really think it matter what design it has.
If it is true what does the bows size matter? Big bow=Super? Small Bow=Regular.

Rufus posted somewhere about the patterns. Otherwise im pretty sure the bow size is just random, but I could be wrong.

Diagonal stripe: Cool presents
Checkered pattern: Smart presents
Zigzag pattern: Tough presents
Polka dotted: Cute presents

I don't believe there's a way to determine the value of the present though.

I made them a long time ago so I don't remember if the pattern were simply for variety or to represent the various types. Probably the types. Other than that it's all completely random as far as I know. Color, bows... it's all just there so each present looks different. Back on UN(that it was made for) all presents were put into a single area, so it was important that it wasn't a room with hundreds of presents that all looked exactly the same.
