Android is linked to many phones, Google offers nice programs (Google Play, Translator etc) which gets built in there and lets you use it universally. But I usually consider android as a 'cheap hand' since it can still catch a virus, or be ran on your PC, plus some devices doesn't have a multitouch function in their base. Unlike the iPhone, mostly known as the first touch phone, has its own OS, own GUI (Apple was the first to invent GUI's btw), on some relative stuff. IMO, most phones in the market are usually a small copy of an iPhone, like Google made something similar to Siri, Android Tablet are originally from an iPad (the idea and the system), Multitasking have been added to the iPhone before other devices, there was no android market before the Apple Store on iPhone 2G but they used to install apk's directly. I bet you guys 20$ that Android devices are going to have a Cloud app (iCloud). Installous. Not all android apps work with all androids. Only less than quarter. |

Installous is good, I have it and all. But it takes a **** load of time to download and you need to jailbreak (voiding your warrenty). Where as on android that doesn't happen.

I have the Nexus 7 and love the thing. I also have an iPod touch 5 and love it too lol. But compare the Nexus 7 to it's competitor, the iPad Mini it destroys it in every aspect. The N7 has a faster processor, more ram, better display, anything you can do on the iPad Mini jailbroken you can do on the N7 without any hacking process lol... Not to mention the N7 is $250 for a 32gb model as the iPad Mini is $329 for a 16gb model... Pay more for less if you go with apple.

iOS does not have true multitasking like Android, all it does is save the state of the app. Why do you think when you forget to remove apps from the multitasking bar the old apps will just restart? Not true multitasking. Installous is also really slow and unreliable. You're belief that Apple invented everything and everyone is a copycat is terribly misconstrued. |

Another upside is that it's easier for app developers to get access to development tools for android apps, because they're available on more than just one platform You have to buy a mac to develop for iDevices, and the pricey fee makes it even harder to get hold of the tools you need.

@johnaudi "Apk's" are easy, fast to install on your android device. And the device does not need to be rooted(JB). Unlike the ipod/iphone/ipad which has to be JB to get installous, and yeah, it takes alot of time to down'd an app such as : NFS:Most wanted (example). @crono Androids offer (that apple doesn't) -THE PRICE : you can get a hella good phone for 200$ (NEW).They are accesible to everyone out there, apple devices cost ********. -You can easly acces the data,etc...if your android device is connected to your pc (Unlike apple's devices which do not let you access the internal data etc...(you need to use iFunbox (pc) to acces them))) -apk's (you can get everything for free, whitout needing to JB) -the market has much more free stuff (Ex: all angry bird games are free) -the design, there's an android for everyone out there (style etc..) IMPO: the design of the iDevices suck. Really. -The widgets, system is 10000000000x better than iOs. Just compare the S3 and the iPH5, the s3 wins in everything. But yeah... The fight of apple vs android will last forever, you need to have both, not be an idiot to understand that android is much better than iOs. Already the choice, design, rapidity of the new devices beat iOs. And I'm not saying apple's iDevices are bad, but definitely NOT f****** worth their price. For me its all about apple's prices, I wouldn't fight or say anything if they'd lower their price, cause their devices don't do ****. |
