Web Browser Apps for iPod/iPhone
Ok it's frustrating browsing the web on an iPod because Safari doesn't support a lot of stuff (ie flash... [ok ok I admit, I'm writing this for advice on how to watch certain videos... {*cough* anime}]). Safari ~ Spoiler
... So I got Download (by Hian Zin Jong) from the App store.. Spoiler
So to watch videos [*coughghgggh* anime], one would need a web browsing app that can play Flash... Puffin ~ is a web browser app that has Adobe Flash Player. However some embedded videos don't go fullscreen so you're stuck watching it still in the middle of the website. But on the plus side, I love the homescreen setup. Photon ~ by Appsverse. The app store description claims to be #1 and stuff. It also can play flash as well as other features. However, my iTunes accound a few cents short of the price, so I don't know how good it is... Ok so my question is... (When I get iTunes money) Should I get Puffin's full version, Photon, or does anyone have other Web browser apps they would recommend (that can play embedded videos [*coouughhgghwheeezehackityhack* anime])? Really I was just wondering if anyone uses apps other than Safari to use the Internet? If so, give the name and what it's good for. |

I have the full version of Photon AND Puffin. I would recommend Puffin, it's MUCH much smoother and flash mode is always on, unlike Photon.

Are you trying to watch pron or hentai or something on your iPod? LOL, anyways every flash browser I've tried has sucked. Just use your laptop/computer or get an Android tablet. |

Ive had a job for a year and a half now.. but havent even touched my checking account. Im a tight-wad i know. but im not buying a laptop because the college im going to gives students "free" (covered by expensive tuition) MacBooks.
