How strict are your parents? - 2

My parents used to be strict and for good reason in my younger years. The past 2 years they have treated me more as an adult and allow me to do my own thing. I am actually happy I had strict parents because they only do it because they care. People who complain about it usually grow up to appreciate it later in life.

No disrespect to your parents or anything, but do they not know how to give you some privacy? Even as their son they shouldn't be doing that, sounds off.

Anyway, with my parents, they aren't strict, just reasonable. They don't mind if im out late or till the early morning, I just have to tell them why.

Mine are pretty strict when it comes to video game usage- i get 2 hours on school days and 4 on weekends- well if they are drinking i play all night on weekends. Lol.

Wow I'm a bit shocked at how strict most of all your parents are. O_o

Mine don't care what I do as long as I'm not a zombie in the morning and I get good grades. They stopped being strict when I was around 13.

As far as internet goes they know about just about everything I do on the internet, and understand I can handle myself in this big nasty web.

Mine are basically the same as Jester's and Engel's.
They've started to threath me like an adult the past 1-2 years, i can get home as late as i want, drink as much as i want, i just have to get my grades good.

The only thing my parents are really still strict about is how much I am on the internet/games. They never want to know what I'm doing, but if they see me playing for a while they tell me to get off and read or something else. Last year I had a serious addiction to video games and it really affected my grades, so I can see why they're strict on that. Other then that, my parents are very fair.

Well my parents don't know about of a lot of things I do, and I'm sure they'd kill me if they did. But they are pretty reasonable people most of the time.

Not strict at all, they usually leave me to my own devices. They usually intervene when they feel is necessary. Thank god they don't know how to work the Internet that well, or I'd be grounded from the computer for life.

I'm limited to 45 minutes of video games a day, and I can barely ever touch a computer. They don't know I am involved in any sort of online community, and if they did I would be dead. I risk a lot just to stay involved in the Graalian community.
