Right now the only "Events" we have are admin hosted ones that are super difficulty to get into, you need to be fast just to get into them.

I think it would be nice if we had an automated event system, where random events are hosted kind of like Era. However, instead of it being a random event every 5 minutes with an invite sent via pm, make it an interface/room list with many different events.

For example, you can queue up for an event at any time with maybe 3-10 events running at any given time, based on current demand for events(will be really high at release, a lot lower once it gets old)
For example, there might be 4 events running, selected via a tables menu kinda like the rooms on other Eurocenter games:
Race(13/30)Begins in 0:53
FFA(14/20)Begins in 1:22
Ctf(24/40)Begins in 1:55
Chance(Currently running)


Events should be free to enter, and have a rather nice reward. Team events should have simple rewards like 20g, maybe individual events will have a reward like 10g per person, up to a maximum of 500. Ctf should be remade into an event, since right now it's old and abandoned because of the cost to enter, and the lack of incentive to play. Perhaps add leaderboards for event wins as well.  

This is something I have been suggesting on PC Graal since maybe 2004 or 2005ish. I started working on the foundations of it on Babylon and ended up leaving the game for a while before it really materialized.

I don't know if iClassic has a big enough pool of events for automation to work properly. Only certain events can be automated. Ice race, bush race, and horse races could all be automated. For them to be automated would require that iClassic have very polished hack detection of all sorts, though.

Yeah, I want them too! When I played era, the events were the only thing on the server I liked lol.
