To Meph(about the KSG shotgun improvement)
First of all this thread is intended to Meph,,, I could have message you about this but I want everybody to see this, so I make it public.. Gun: KSG shotgun Damage: 6(3 damage per bullet) 8 at perfect(4 per bullet) Clip:12 Price: about 70k+( I don't know the exact price) Freeze:high So my complain is about the damage and the freeze of the KSG. The KSG suppose to be a gun that can compete with other gun on its price range.. Like the sten, m4, ab8, morano,, etc.. But the KSG seem to be very underpowered for a 70k+ gun. If you use the shield in KSG.. It only decrease the damge taken by 20-30%(correct me if I'm wrong).. And the downside is the rate of fire is reduced, the freeze become insanely high.. And it feels like heavy to use.. With this stats it can't compete with other guns. I think only few people use this gun. It is not worth for its current stats as of now.. So my suggestion is: 1. Increase the damge of KSG by 1 decrease the freeze and remove the slowness when you equip the shield as well as the decrease in rate of fire(cause its very pointless for a gun that make you slow when equipped) 2. When not equipped with shield.. Increase the damge of KSG by 2 so it will have a base damge of 5 and 6 damge at perfect(12 damge if both bullet hit). When the shield is equipped keep the original damge but increase the damage decrease of the shield( let say 50-60% decrease in damge taken). Then remove the slowness and high freeze when you equipped the shield. 3. Make the KSG bullet 3 instead of 2.. Increase the clip to 21 and again remove the slowness and high freeze when the shield is equipped. 4. Let say KSG is not meant to be an offensive gun. So, I suggest to remove the shield damge decrease effect.. Change it to a shield that will reflect the incoming damge(let say 20-30% chance to reflect).. Give a knock back effect to the bullet of the gun so that it can still be usefull.. I think this gun need a major improvement.. Hope you will read this and make a move to change it as soon as possible.. This game is good but the stats of some gun ruined the balanced of the game making players to quit. Any suggestion from other player is welcomed here.. Thanks and please do not start a flame war here.. Again this thread is for Meph to know that KSG is the most unbalanced gun of iera.. You want it to shoot 3 bullets and have it do 6 damage x-x. I think the only thing it needs is 1 extra damage per bullet and for the shield to have the same freeze and slowness just have the old block based on a 50% chance of the bullet doing damage when hit..

I forgot to indicate that above(suggestion 1-4) is an option. What I mean is it will not shoot 6 damge per bullet if the number of bullet released by gun is 3... It will shoot 3 bullet with a damge of 3 per bullet a total of 9 base damge or 12 damage at perfect... Then remove the slowness when the shield is equipped cause it really become a disadvantage to the user of the gun if he/she can't dodge the incoming bullet.. Maybe you'll ask what's the point of the shield? The shield will be come useless since it only block(decrease damge tAken) in front.. What if the your enemy sneak around you and shoot you at the back? You can't move that fast because if the heavy(slowness effect) shield.. Get the idea? Any way your gun is good the day it was released but now it is a waste of money... |

I still think KSG is still underpowered... And what is the purpose is shield if you will not use it? KSG need to be improve.. Maybe increase the damage by 1 and remove the slowness.. KSG compared to other gun at its price range is very underpowered.. Imagine an m4 user killing a KSG user do easily.. Do you think it is fair? M4 cost 55k and KSG cost 70k+. The difference in price is huge.. Another example is KSG vs an m3... The result is m3 end up killing the KSG user... Now tell me? Is KSG powerfully enough to compete with other guns? Bar is very strong gun because it cost 200k. Why KSG is so underpowered when it cost 70k+? They all say this game is paytowin therefore KSG should be on par with other guns that cost close to the KSG itself.. |

Remember, the KSG is not be used solo. The shield is to take some damage and give a little kick. It's not made to absorb all damage, and deal anything like 16 in one shot.

I'm not saying that KSG is a solo gun but you need to consider that it was created for the purpose of killing an enemy.. Can you tell me why guns less than 70k is better than the KSG that cost 70k+? Can u tell my why KSG when equipped with shield make you move slow? The logic is price of the gun = it's performance. Meaning the more the expensive the gun the better you can use it. So now can u spar using KSG? The answer is no. Can you raid a base using a slow KSG? The answer is no again because you can't dodge the bullets, evn you say that KSG meant to take damage it is not strong enough to compensate for the low damage of the KSG. Now if Meph would just return the orginal KSG the day it was released then I would say that it will be balanced. |

Slightly lower the shield freeze rate (when you take it out) to give the user the feel of "blocking" the bullet. Basically, pull out the shield at the last second before the bullet hits you to absorb some damage. With just enough time to recover from the bullet spam. The shield freeze rate nearly has a freeze rate of a Peacemaker which is a long freeze rate. Make KSG feel like it's a combat shotgun. With a shield that has some freeze but not a lot of freeze can make the combat more interesting as now you can block bullets to reduce damage.

At least Meph can remove the freeze when the shield is equipped.. It is really pointless that the gun will make you slow if you equipped it.. This gun cost 70k+ it needs to be buffed a little |

The shield is close to a gimmick. The shield has it's uses, but they either need improvement or the shield needs to be more helpful in other situations. The shield can be used to retreat and rush through bullet line and take some damage. The shield can be improved.
