Why do we care so much about weather or not we're new? Theres many arguments against either side. If you're a noob you've either just pissed off the person who called you one, or you simply have lesser stats than the accuser. But if you're an oldbie (not sure if people even use this term anymore) you've been with Graal since the start or you have no life because you have outstanding stats compared to the accuser. What i sense a lot is that people care about when they started. If someone calls you a noob you either laugh, ignore it, argue back, or you prove them wrong. Usually people turn to hats to prove how 'old' they are. Lets say someone calls you a noob. You go to your old hats and put on one that they've never seen before because it was sold before they even joined. You have just proved them wrong. Maybe this is why people do not want hats to be resold? All in all, my rambling is done, just thought id share my thoughts on subject. Doesn't matter when you've started. Be the mature one and don't call people names in the first place. Or be the bigger man (woman) and walk away. Starting. Date. Doesn't. Matter.  

I'm an oldbie in that I have played a lot of graal when I was younger. Now, however, when I log in, I am a noobster once again. Being a noob is what makes graal fun.

Well, the reason people do not like old hats being resold is because when Graal was first releasing limited hats in Nexus and Revolution they were very expensive compared to prices of hats currently. The Xor masks used to be 30k or something. There's a video on YouTube of old hats. I'll try and find it..hold on

I just ignore any rude personal messages, guild messages, or normal chat messages. They're not worth my time.  

I've never heard the term 'oldbie', I feel like you made that word up.  

I usually just ignore people who pm me dumb things.  

The reason people dislike others that are new to any game is pretty simple actually. After obtaining whatever the objective is in a game, (Trophies, hats, experience), people need to find a justification for their efforts. To them, having fun playing the game isn't enough. They need a reason to play. So they devalue people who haven't played the game as much so they can feel important.

Its pretty similar to how people buy big houses and flashy clothes when they don't really need them. Its all so people can feel important, that's what drives everything!
